Cactus show

Last Friday was a good night, the 48 Hour film festivle kicked of in Milwaukee, Riversplash started and there was a Damn Fine Rock Show At the Cactus Club.
It was kind of a big step for me. As it was the first show I've set up in a while and the first one that I booked at cactus.
To start out the night was Innocent Civilians Thom(who recorded us(is in white wrench)) and the boys sounded flawless.
I hate them for how good they sounded.
Thom, Kyle and Josh are all mega talented so it shouldn't have surprised me this much. You don't have to take my word for it.

Then was the mother fucking NEW LOUD
And let it be known that i love this band.
They are so good. Rockin dance-y catchy pop...quite literally everything i like in music.
And then after two great Milwaukee bands played...
We did.
 .set.
 Death of the studio system
Captain of a sinking ship
Dead, wrapped in plastic
Luscious lushes
Babylon the bride
confirm your alibi
.end set.
We had a few technical difficulties by way of my bass farting out a couple times, overall a tight set.
Also something funny happened. The new loud has a song called wrapped in plastic and we have a song called dead, wrapped in plastic. Both songs are about Twin Peaks. and I happened to get video of both songs. What's interesting is to different band with unique styles writing two songs about one subject. So watch both songs and marvel at how the brain works.
King's Horses - Luscious Lushes(Live) This is a new song and i think we nailed it.
